We offer the following educational programs for primary schools at The WildLife Movement:
Early Stage 1
Our Early Stage 1 program introduces students to rock pools and some of the creatures that call them home. Students will learn about the needs of living things, some of their external features and how their behaviour changes as the tides change. We also teach students that rock pools are special places where we can connect with nature and that we need to care for them.
Stage 1
Our Stage 1 program introduces students to some of the wonderful animals that live in rock pools and teaches them the similarities and differences between them. Students will also learn about the importance of caring for our environment and what actions they can take to help care for our planet.
Stage 2
Our Stage 2 program introduces students to the animals found in rock pools and how we can group them based on similarities and patterns. Students learn about the interconnectedness of all things in nature and how nature influences our own lives. We also teach students about how people can live in harmony with the environment and the actions that they can take to help protect and conserve nature.
Stage 3
Our Stage 3 program introduces students to the features and adaptations of animals that live in rock pools. Students learn about the ways that people can change and manage the natural environment. We also teach students about the actions that they can take to protect our environments and encourage others to act in more sustainable ways.
