Program Description

Our preschool program introduces students to some of the animals that call rock pools home. Students will learn about the interdependence between people, plants and animals. We will also teach the students about the importance of showing respect for the environment and the ways in which we can show appreciation and care for the natural world.

EYLF 2.4: Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment

Inquiry Questions

As a part of our program, students will discover:

  • What does a sea star feel like?
  • Why is a sea hare so colourful?
  • Why does a sea urchin have spikes?
  • How are the lives of animals interconnected?
  • Why is it important to respect the environment?
  • Why do I need to put my rubbish in the bin?
  • How can I help the environment?

Program Details

Program Length: 60 minutes
Programs per day: Up to 5 sessions per day
Participant Numbers: Up to 30 children per session
Price: $300 per session (Priced from $10 per child*)
